The Secret World Of History’s First Pope | St Peter’s Holy Relics: The Quest | Timeline
The first of Jesus’ apostles, guardian of the gates of Paradise, founder of the Christian Church, the first pope in history… Peter is a key figure of the Christian religion. Yet, there remain many unsolved questions regarding his incredible life.
How did he really die? Where was he buried? Why did this Saint have such an important place in the life of Jesus of Nazareth and the powers he was said to have? Today, there’s an interesting twist to the mysteries that surround Saint Peter. Two large archaeological sites in Rome and Israel have unearthed unexpected discoveries, shaking up Christianity’s long-held beliefs.
Based on recent excavations and ongoing research, this documentary shows us the latest findings on Saint Peter and his place of burial. Enough to overturn the legends and mysteries that surround the Prince of the Apostles.
Although this is a wonderfully produced short documentary film, it at least for me (and many others I presume) is the following according the the Holy Scriptures.
Here we read Yahshua (Jesus) telling Simon- Peter the manner the end of his life would look like. Martyrdom in Rome by being crucified upside down or not was not prophesied / foretold by The Lord. The following was what he has said”
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. 16He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. 17He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
18Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not. 19This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me. John 21
By all reasonable accounts , Peter being called Peter and not Simon, Simon-Peter being in Rome and being accused of burning Rome to the ground by Nero to detract from a rumour and political sentiment that it was in fact Nero who caused the burning of Rome to happen so he could rebuilt it as Neropolis when in all probability it was a unfortunate domestic fire that got out of control that led to Peter being crucified upside down and buried next where the St. Peters Basilica now stands is a Roman Catholic machination, one of many in a long history of the Roman Catholic church.
The penchant of Popes and Roman Catholics by and large for relics, symbology, icons and some would say idolatry is the Roman Catholic church’s way.
Every Blessing
