Catholic branches, vast in numbers, stray variably from KJV clarity. Roman core’s high deviations—papal supremacy over priesthood of believers, sacramental salvation eclipsing faith alone—echo Reformation cries. Yet glimmers remain: SSPX’s moral rigor, sedevacantists’ scriptural zeal. Ecumenism’s unchecked advance (Assisi) risks 2 Cor. 6:14; globalism dilutes witness.

As evangelicals rooted in full gospel truth, we pray for return to sola scriptura (2 Tim. 3:16-17 KJV). Dialogue heals, but truth endures. Join us at FPECC.CA for Bible-centered worship.

  • Note on Bible Translation: Rev. John McIlwraith and Ainsworth Korg, PhD, utilize the Authorized King James Version (KJV) as their preferred Bible translation for its historical fidelity and clarity in doctrinal study. However, the First Pentecostal Evangelical Church of Canada (FPECC) does not mandate that members or clergy exclusively use the KJV, encouraging personal discernment in selecting translations that align with our Statement of Faith and the pursuit of scriptural truth.
